Are you curious about specialty coffee in Katowice? Katowice is certainly not among the most famous touristic attractions in Poland, however, it has a couple of specialty cafes and sights to keep you busy. Let me introduce you to the main specialty coffee shops in Katowice.
Specialty Coffee In Katowice
When one arrives in Katowice from Krakow or Wroclaw, it is obvious that Katowice has a much more industrial look. It’s not particularly inviting, and its looks are reminiscent of the Socialist times.
But there’s hope. And there are a bunch of specialty coffee shops in Katowice. So do not regret your choice. Katowice has quite a bit to offer, even when it comes to specialty coffee.
Proper Coffee
Proper CoffeeNice and stylish cozy cafe offering a range of quite decent coffee beans. The lovely barista was willing to help with the coffee selection and even let me try the batch brew before getting a cup.
Perfect for plant fans! Beautiful huge monsteras and strelitzias all over the cafe. Recommended!
Palarnia Proper Coffee is a Polish coffee roaster actually located in Bielsko-Biała, and this is their branded cafe in Katowice.
Black Woolf Coffee & Books
Black Woolf Coffee & BooksVery nice cafe in the city center, not far from the main train station. Not only serves excellent coffee but offers a great selection of English books.
Spacious seating area, including a small terrace, with a few great tables that allow to work from, and multiple electrical plugs.
Coffee is very good, and baristas know what they do. During my visit they served coffee from Pikola and Kafar.
Synergia
SynergiaA coffee shop offering food and nice coffee as well as a decent range of coffee beans, probably the best selection in the region.
